Summer began to set with the sun on the outer dunes of Cape cod. A few bonfires lit up the shoreline as I looked south, searching for the faint cloud of the Milky Way in the sky. Early in the summer I ventured north of Boston, at 4 in the morning to watch the sunrise. It felt like a turning point, and it may have been. Things are good.
In the past I'd thought a lot about moving away. But the older I get I grown to love New England even more. And on an evening, it's hard to imagine being anywhere else.
