Venice Pizza | Dorchester, MA
A re-opened pizza and sub shop with made-from-scratch gourmet vibes in the heart of one of Boston's most authentic neighborhoods. The owner Josh took over the previous version of Venice Pizza at the same location. With a new look and a new menu, he gave the neighborhood a much needed boost for its gourmet sandwich-seeking connoisseurs. Josh worked at Pastoral (a swankier dining spot in the Seaport District owned by his brother) for a long time before venturing off on his own. My review: 5 stars.
